The solution for deburring and edge rounding uniformly flat or bent pieces. Unique performance on thin material, strong radius up to 2mm, parts with reduced dimensions and small holes. The contact roller removes the heavier burrs while the double rotation planetary head rounds consistently internal and external edges.

Parts up to 43” wide

Works with coated material , sheet metal as well as thicker parts, great for parts going to powder coat.

REMOVAL OF SLAG FROM OXIDIZED MATERIAL

Slag results from fully oxidized material adhering to the edge. This usually occurs during plasma and flame cutting.  Where a burr can be small and even as minimal as just a very sharp edge slag is usually significant.  Due to the cutting process, it is usually always in thicker material ½” and up.  Because of that you work in heavy plate up to 4” thick.  Those parts have distortion (they do not lay flat) and therefore you need a large drum with soft rubber to make up for the distortion and thickness variances.

 

Loewer Swing Grinder

Quick and easy deburring and rounding. Up to now there were basically two methods for deburring CNC cut sheet metal: either manually with power tools or using expensive through-feed machines. The SwingGrinder offers a new solution. Deburring and edge rounding with the SwingGrinder is quicker than working manually with power tools. The investment and operating costs, however, are much lower compared to expensive through-feed machines. The grinding head with two rotating disc tools is mounted to a swinging arm equipped with a weight compensation device. The unit is guided easily over the workpiece. The grinding pressure is applied manually from above. The inside and outside edges of the workpiece are processed from all angles and directions. The grinding head is tiltable 180° allowing a speedy change from the deburring disc to the rounding disc and back.
